Keep Your Beard Line-Up Sharp Between Visits

A fresh line-up makes the whole cut look sharper. Here's how to keep it looking good until your next visit.

Fade and beard line-up

1. Wash it, but not with harsh soap

Use a beard wash or a gentle shampoo a few times a week. Regular soap dries out the skin underneath and causes itching and flakes.

2. Oil or balm every day

A few drops of beard oil after a shower keep the hair soft and the skin calm. Balm adds a little hold if your beard goes in all directions.

3. Brush it into shape

Brush down and outward every morning. It trains the hair and makes the line-up look cleaner.

4. Don't chase the line yourself

This is the big one. Every time you "just tidy" the cheek line or neckline at home, it creeps a little higher or lower. Only clean up the stray hairs outside the line, and leave the shape to us.

5. Come back in 1 to 2 weeks

That's about how long a sharp line-up lasts. Add a Line-up ($15) to your cut, or book Haircut + Beard ($65) or a Beard trim ($27).
